Poor Turn Out for Police Surgery

On Monday afternoon the local constabulary gave Kedington's people a chance to raise matters of interest to them with a police surgery held on the green in front of the Parade Shops on Westward Deals, but despite good weather turn out was low.

Apart from the parish secretary and KedingtonNews.co.uk, P.C. Trish Sinclair only received two visitors and one of them was Alan the Butcher who kindly brought her a cup of tea.

The only issue raised was that of the parking on the Westward Deals Estate which is now becoming a great problem for residents, with some now parking so close to the entrance of the estate that it is causing both difficulty and danger for many.

The poor turn out could be down to a populace happy with policing in the area, but it is also possible that two o'clock on a Monday afternoon is a time when those with issues are at work.
