Kedington VS Pebmarsh - Click to Enlarge Kedington FC Started this match determined to maintain their recent run of victories, but Pebmarsh seemed determined and through out the game kept up the pressure on both Kedington and the referee.

The first half showed a need to work on defence for both teams with 8 goals scored in the first 45 minuets. Despite dominating the early play Kedington were first to conceded a point to a breakaway from Pebmarsh. However their response was quick with Lee Phillips scoring the equaliser and Chris Rose putting in a header from a well placed corner. Matt Hart pushed Kedington to a two point lead, but this was to be as good as it got. Soon Pebmarsh were able to get a header in off a free kick and when the referee judged that Stuart Watson had taken down a Pebmarsh player in the box the resulting penalty saw Pebmarsh equalise. The first half goalfest was still not over however as Chris Rose headed in another goal from another corner. It was also a Kedington man Dan Haynes who scored the 8th goal of the half, Unfortunately it was in to the Kedington Goal as he tried to get the ball to safety from a hard pushing Pebmarsh front line leaving the half time score a phenomenal 4-4.

Pebmarsh took advantage of half time to reconfigure their team. Leaving behind their flat back four and failing offside trap for a sweeper. This seemed a match wining strategy as they quickly took a one point lead and held on too in for almost all of the second half. Kedington however fought to the end and were rewarded as five minuets before the final wistle Pebmarsh conceded a corner. This time Cris Roses header was not enough to pass the Pebmarsh defence but Leon Thomas caught the rebound to set the score even. Kedington were not wiling to settle for one point and when they forced another corner out of Pebmarsh Richard Elding put Kedington 6-5 ahead with one minuet left to play. The Final minuet saw discipline break down within the frustrated Pebmarsh ranks as the animosity that had been evident between them and the referee for most of the game lead to one of the Pebmarsh team walking off the pitch in a move that should leave their coach with cause for concern.
