Acton Crown 2 - Kedington FC 5 11/10/9 |
Kedington played strongly through the first half and looked to be well on top of things when they deservedly opened the scoring thanks to Sean Johnson showing his skill one on one against the Rayne Keeper. They continued to play well and looked to many the better side, yet Rayne still managed to regain control of the scoreboard before the end of the half making full use of two slips by Kedington: first a stray pass back to the keeper was quickly put in to the back of the net, then when their pacey left winger got in to the box to be felled for a penalty Rayne put the kick straight home to go ahead 2-1.
It seemed like the two goals late in the first half took it out of Kedington who were unable to rediscover their first half form and as the second half wore on Rayne managed to put away two more goals for a 4-1 victory.
