After Last weeks inability to put goals home against bottom of the table Punch 68 the pressure was on Kedington not to go out of the Knock Out Cup in the first round. Fortunately after 7 weeks off the field due to snow Toppesfield proved totally unprepared for a deluge of goals from Kedington.The first half saw Kedington plough the ball in to the Toppesfield net a total of 4 times. This was not without reply however with Toppesfield themselves putting a point on the score board and taking another shot at goal which but for a remarkable save from the Kedington keeper would have also hit the back of the net.
Kedington charged in to the second half with all guns blazing. Toppesfield floundered for much of it and fifteen minuets in Kedington made the score 5-1. A shaken Toppesfields restarted the match but within a minuet the ball was once more in the back of their net after a swift run down the left wing. Kedington continued dominance for the rest of the half with only a brief and un fruitful resurgence from the visitors ten minuets before the end. Kedington now go through to the second round.
