The First half of this match was all Kedington's. Sean Johnson opened the scoring early for Kedington with a low shot after the Essex Arms Defence left him clear inside the box. Matt Hart went one on one with the EA goal keeper to put away the second goal at the second time of asking and although Lee Phillips rattled the underside of the crossbar it was Matt who put away goal number three.

By the end of the first half it looked like Kedington might at last do something about their low goal difference compared to the other clubs at the top of the league but Essex Arms came out of the break with a vengeance. Within a minuet of the start of the half EA had their first goal and within five they had headed in their second. Kedington brought the pressure back down on the Essex team but found it hard to convert opportunities in to goals. Eventually however Lee Phillips Managed to stretch Kedington's lead to 4-2 after a low cross from Rob Butler only to have Essex Arms Once again reduce our boys lead to 1 point with fifteen minuets still to go. Kedington were able to last out the last quarter hour without any real threats but will have been glad of no further surprises.
