There was a time when if one wanted to show a cinema film one would need a bulky projector and the film would arrive in the form of a heavy box of celluloid that would then have to be transformed from a number of 20 minuet chunks to a big reel capeable of holding the whole film. This system is expensive and after a few viewings the quality of the film was often far from perfect but, with the advent of high quality digital projectors showing films is now both cheaper and of guaranteed quality, making a venture such as the KCA's film club a feasible possibility.
In addition the KCA hope it will be possible to stage public showings of films aimed at children during the School holidays.
To assess weather demand for such a club would be enough to sustain it and what times most popular the KCA is asking villagers to fill in a survey available from Kedington Post Office or Kedington Library.
