Parish Council Candidates Announced.

With the local elections due on May 5th Kedington has for the first chance in many years an opportunity to vote on it's parish councillors after may years where there have not been enough nominees to fill all the seats in the council or there for require an election.

On April 7th the names of nominees for the nine seats of the parish council with twelve candidates contesting them. The nominations are as follows:

Jennifer Bradnam - The Boltons, Kings Hill
Peter C Byron - 34 Risbridge Drive
Peter L Donoghue - 20 Dash End Lane
Gloria Double - Barkers Nook, Mill Road
Peter W Garner - 36 Barton Grove
Richard H Hobbs - The White House, Silver Street
Simon H McGuire - 19 Dane Close
Nathan J Loader - Bell House, Silver Street
Zoe Palmer - The Old Stores, Silver Street
Richard L Pound - 37 Dane Close
Peter D Rowsell - Clay Too, Sturmer Road
Terence E Wheeler - 11 Westward Deals

Polling cards should already have arrived in the post and the polling station will be at the Royal British Legion Hall at the top of Mill Road.

There is no contest for the position of bough councillor as there was only one candidate, Marion Rushbrook.
